Vaida is a part of our family and your help would be appreciated unfortunately money has been tight during this last year and we do not know who else to turn to for help.
— Alishia —
Company owners switching, losing a job, moving and oh yes…the pandemic, have placed Alishia and her family in a very tight financial situation over the past year. When normally there may be only one issue to address at a time, it seemed this was the year for multiple things to occur in Alishia’s household. One of those occurrences happened when her beautiful companion Vaida began walking with a limp to her step. Vaida was a gift from a friend 3 years ago and quickly become a loving part of the household as well as a support companion for Alishia.
As soon as Alishia saw the limp in Vaida’s hind leg, she reached out to Max’s Helping Paws for support. Regardless of what circumstance have happened the past year, one thing was still the same, Alishia loves her ‘fur baby’ and was willing to go to any lengths to ensure Vaida was treated. Thanks to our community donors and partner organizations such as the Animal Welfare Assistance Group, Max’s was able to extend the financial lifeline to enable Vaida to receive diagnostic treatment.
The diagnostic treatment from VCA All Pets Vaida received entailed x-rays, a splint and medications to alleviate swelling. It was with a grateful heart Alishia took Vaida home after the care and is now making sure she rests comfortably and well during her journey of healing.
